From the depths of our hearts, we would like to thank you for giving us our little daughter.

We came to you after a long journey that included at least 10 failed attempts at fertilization with three different doctors, a failed pregnancy caused by a mistake of one of them, and a difficult psychology because of all these.

Thank you very much for everything!

Christina, Bill, and the baby.

My name is Maria and I am a happy and proud mother of a beautiful daughter that is 6 months old! I achieved it at the age of 48, and every day, I experience this greatness of her existence and enjoy these moments with her!

Once again, a big thank you for the gift that I hold tenderly in my arms.

With love,
Maria.

Mr. Tsirigotis,

My name is Maria and I am a happy and proud mother of a beautiful daughter that is 6 months old! I achieved it at the age of 48, and every day, I experience this greatness of her existence and enjoy these moments with her!
In 2004, I visited the doctor, Marinos Tsirigotis, at AKESO after having had failed attempts at other centers.
During the first visit, I felt that this doctor treats responsibly and undertakes thoroughly all cases.
The way was not easy: many difficulties, gynecological problems, several failed attempts were painful but I did not abandon my dream.
I felt secure and confident with my doctor that tried his best, with perseverance, determination, and love for what he was doing.
He is a man dedicated to science, committed to his work, seeking positive outcomes for patients.
He explains each step simply and clearly, he is sincere and honest with a truth that often hurts, but if you follow it, it will lead you to your goal.
I was surrounded by invaluable associates willing to help me and support in every phase of the process.

Once again, a big thank you for the gift that I hold tenderly in my arms.

I am so happy and send you all my affection.

MARIA.

Mr. Tsirigotis,

Before I met my partner, I was committed to work and had no special interest in family and children. When John appeared in my life, I was 36 y.o. He started to mature in my mind the idea of having him for more than a simple relationship. So, we decided to get together this way, including all dreams and expectations. Most of our friends had either already have children or were pregnant. However, what for others was a smooth way, for us it meant to be a strenuous uphill fortunately with a happy ending. We started facing problem in one trumpet (σάλπιγγα), then discovered that the ovaries were not functioning well and were not responding to medicines. It forced us to change the treatment and, eventually, we had 5 extracorporeal treatments over a period of 4 years, with a twin pregnancy in between, which resulted in a detachment of the 7th and one rebound pregnancy in 8th week. A period of psychological distress was following me together with an infection that deprived me of one ovary and both fallopian tubes (the second was ligated in order to protect valuable last ovary). Until we reached the last attempt, it almost had no progress, since the first examination revealed a cyst which was greater than the ovary itself. Yet all of us have insisted to continue and refused to give up, thus showing patience and dedication to the complex and difficult process of IVF that followed a pregnancy. After a Tubal forced to guard against unexpected events miscarriage, close medical supervision and eventually premature labor due to increased resistance to umbilical arteries, John and I are now in our little hug makes us treasure charms and educates us.
